One week of ritual
Can you believe we’re already one week into our 30 Days of Ritual? And just so you know, I’m not simply sending these rituals to you every morning. I’m doing the challenge right alongside you.
Yesterday’s ritual was our mini digital detox: step away from your phone for 10 minutes.
Well…early evening rolled around and I spent about five minutes looking for my phone.
Finally, I laughed and said, “Okay, Universe. I see you reminding me to do my own challenge!” 😂
So instead of continuing the search, I stopped looking and went about my business without it.
And you know what? In those 10 phone-free minutes, I actually got two things accomplished that I’d been meaning to do. And guess what I found when the 10 minutes were up? My phone. 😂 Message received, Universe.
That little moment reminded me of what this challenge is really about. It’s not about doing every ritual perfectly or checking another thing off our lists. It’s about creating small moments that help us pause, notice and return to ourselves. And sometimes, we might even discover how much we can do when we remove one tiny distraction.
And that’s exactly where we’re headed next.
Week Two is going a little deeper. 🌿
Now that we’ve spent a week practicing intentional moments, we’re going to start paying attention to what those moments are revealing.
What keeps showing up?
What feels nourishing?
What feels forced?
What might be asking us to loosen our grip?
Because sometimes the ritual isn’t just what we do. It’s what we finally become quiet enough to notice. I’m excited about where we’re going this week. Week Two starts today, and I have a feeling it may reveal a few things. 👀✨
